~ The Darkness Has Its Own Light ~

Adult in theme. (Sometimes)
I am a lifelong bookworm and Tolkien fan who now prefers fanfiction to published works. I write, read, review and recommend fanfic/art/fanvids/archives/sites/ etc.
I'm an obsessive reader and writer, lover of high fantasy, passion, slash and pathos.
Bio and fanfiction series on Faerie, a Tolkien fanfiction Archive.

Esteliel has very kindly created a Dark Prince Fanlore page for me.
I'll pretty much follow any-one who is fine with slash, loves Tolkien, (and the House of Finwë - I am thoroughly pro-Fëanor and his sons, although I love all that magnificent, tragic house, and detest most of the Valar). I write about 50% incest, so don't follow if you have a squick with that, please, though I don't post my fic on Tumblr.
I like peace and quiet, detest arguments, (I use that energy to write) and like decent, kind human beings. I'd love to live in Wales, between the mountains and the sea, just write, read, and walk.

Frenchman’s Creek, Heston River, Cornwall. The setting of Daphne du Maurier’s novel.
“The solitary yachtsman who leaves his yacht in the open roadstead of Helford, and goes exploring up river in his dinghy on a night in midsummer, when the night-jars call, hesitates when he comes upon the mouth of the creek, for there is something of mystery about it even now, something of enchantment.”
